Yes. C-RGME certification is valid for two years. To maintain the designation, certification holders must complete renewal requirements designed to support continued competence in resident remediation practice.

During each two-year certification cycle, C-RGME holders must:

• Attend one renewal workshop focused on updates in remediation practices and documentation standards
• Participate in two quarterly C-RGME calls that review real-world remediation scenarios and evolving program expectations

Renewal workshops are held live and virtually, and recordings are available for participants who are unable to attend the live session. Certification holders will also complete brief renewal activities associated with the workshop and quarterly calls.

The C-RGME renewal fee is $300 every two years. All required renewal education, including workshops and quarterly calls, is provided at no additional cost to certification holders.

Renewal also includes listing in the official C-RGME certification directory, which recognizes individuals who maintain active certification and demonstrated expertise in resident remediation.
