Redefining Resident Remediation in GME Scholarship
Supporting professionals who are working to strengthen resident remediation within graduate medical education programs.
What the Scholarship Covers
Scholarship recipients will receive full tuition for the C-RGME Certification Program, a professional certification designed to help graduate medical education professionals design and implement effective resident remediation strategies.
The scholarship covers the entire program tuition ($3,497 value).
Participants will complete the certification through an eight-week structured learning experience that includes guided modules, applied exercises, and development of a comprehensive remediation plan.
Resident remediation is one of the most complex responsibilities within graduate medical education. Yet many professionals responsible for managing remediation cases have never received formal training in how to design effective, defensible remediation plans.
The Redefining Resident Remediation in GME Scholarship was created to support GME professionals who are committed to improving remediation practices within their programs.

Participants in the certification program learn how to:
• Identify and define resident performance deficiencies
• Develop structured remediation plans aligned with ACGME competencies
• Implement remediation plans effectively within residency programs
• Monitor progress and document remediation activities
• Navigate complex remediation situations with greater clarity and confidence
